Risks & Limitations
This document outlines general risks and limitations associated with the Krang ecosystem, the KRANG token, and the Krang PlayArena.
The purpose of this section is to provide transparency and set clear expectations.
It does not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice.
General Platform Risk
The Krang PlayArena is a software-based platform provided on an as-is basis.
Potential risks include:
- temporary unavailability of services
- interruptions due to maintenance or technical issues
- bugs or unintended behavior in games or backend systems
While reasonable measures are taken to ensure stability, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Smart Contract and Blockchain Risk
The KRANG token operates on a public blockchain.
Risks inherent to blockchain technology include:
- smart contract vulnerabilities
- network congestion or failures
- changes in underlying protocol behavior
- third-party infrastructure dependencies (nodes, explorers, RPC providers)
Krang does not control the blockchain itself and cannot eliminate these risks entirely.
Token Utility Limitations
The KRANG token is designed exclusively for ecosystem-related utility.
Limitations include:
- no guarantee of ongoing or future utility
- utility scope may change over time
- certain features may be deprecated or removed
The token does not represent ownership, profit rights, or governance authority.
Gameplay and Reward Limitations
Gameplay-based systems are subject to predefined rules and constraints.
Potential limitations include:
- changes to scoring or validation logic
- adjustments to Play Credit availability
- modification or discontinuation of challenges or reward mechanisms
All gameplay outcomes and rewards are subject to server-side validation.
Client-side actions alone do not guarantee rewards or leaderboard placement.
Burn and Supply Mechanism Risk
Token burn mechanisms are rule-based and platform-controlled.
Limitations include:
- burn frequency and volume may vary
- burns depend on platform activity and predefined schedules
- no guarantees regarding supply impact or token scarcity
Burns do not imply value appreciation or economic outcomes.
Wallet and User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for their wallets and private keys.
Krang:
- does not store private keys or recovery phrases
- cannot recover lost wallets or funds
- cannot reverse blockchain transactions
Users are responsible for ensuring correct wallet connections and transactions.
Regulatory and Legal Uncertainty
Blockchain-based systems may be subject to regulatory changes.
Potential risks include:
- changes in laws or regulations affecting token usage
- restrictions imposed by jurisdictions or service providers
- compliance requirements beyond Krang’s control
Krang makes no representations regarding regulatory status in specific jurisdictions.
Third-Party Dependencies
The ecosystem relies on third-party tools and services, including but not limited to:
- wallet providers
- blockchain networks
- indexing and analytics services
- hosting and infrastructure providers
Failures or changes in third-party services may impact platform functionality.
No Guarantees
Krang makes no guarantees regarding:
- platform longevity
- token availability or demand
- future features or expansions
- economic outcomes
Participation in the ecosystem is voluntary and at the user’s own discretion.
Summary
The Krang ecosystem is a technical platform combining games, tokens, and blockchain infrastructure.
Users should understand that participation involves technical, operational, and regulatory uncertainties.
Krang emphasizes transparency, rule-based systems, and controlled interactions but cannot eliminate all risks.
