Bubble Shooter

Bubble Shooter is a skill-based arcade game available within the Krang PlayArena.
The game focuses on precision, spatial reasoning, and strategic shot planning within a descending playfield.

Players control a bubble launcher and aim to clear the field by forming color-matched clusters.
The objective is to remove all bubbles before the playfield advances beyond the allowed threshold.

Gameplay Overview

In Bubble Shooter, players launch colored bubbles toward a suspended field.

  • bubbles attach to the field upon contact
  • clusters of three or more matching colors are removed
  • detached bubbles may fall when their support is removed

Gameplay continues until all bubbles are cleared or the playfield advances too far.

Scoring System

The scoring system rewards efficient and precise play.

  • points are awarded for each bubble removed
  • additional points may be granted for chain reactions and falling clusters
  • scoring accelerates as difficulty increases

Final scores are evaluated server-side.
Only validated scores are eligible for leaderboard placement or reward mechanisms.

Missed Shots and Passes

Bubble Shooter includes a limited error tolerance system.

  • players start with five passes
  • each missed shot consumes one pass
  • when all passes are used, the bubble field descends

As the field moves downward, available space is reduced and difficulty increases.

Difficulty Progression

Difficulty scales dynamically during the session.

  • the higher the score, the faster the bubble field descends
  • time pressure increases as progression continues
  • inefficient play accelerates field advancement

This progression encourages fast decision-making and accurate aiming.

Strategic Mechanics

Wall Bounce

Players can use the side walls to angle shots.

  • wall bounces allow access to otherwise unreachable clusters
  • successful angled shots can trigger large chain reactions
  • advanced strategies may clear significant portions of the field

Strategic use of wall bounces is essential for high-score performance.

Controls

Bubble Shooter supports both desktop and touch-based input methods.

Desktop (Browser)

  • Mouse movement to aim
  • Mouse click to shoot

Touch Devices

  • Touch and drag to aim
  • Release to shoot

Control schemes are automatically adapted based on the device.

Session Rules

Bubble Shooter operates within standard PlayArena session constraints.

  • sessions are time-limited
  • scoring and events are validated server-side
  • client-side manipulation does not influence final results

If participation requirements are not met, the game may run in Trial Mode with limited duration.

Integration with PlayArena Systems

Bubble Shooter is fully integrated into the PlayArena infrastructure.

  • Play Credits may be required for participation
  • scores may contribute to challenges or burning scores
  • KRANG balances do not affect gameplay mechanics

All integrations follow platform-wide rules as documented in the PlayArena section.

Summary

Bubble Shooter is a precision-focused arcade game centered on aiming accuracy, spatial planning, and controlled risk-taking.

Its mechanics reward strategic thinking and efficient execution under increasing pressure.
The game represents a classic bubble-matching concept implemented within the Krang PlayArena framework.
